The Storytellers' Collection

Tales of Far Away Places

What happens when you bring a group of novelists together for a great cause? A great book!

In this collection of short stories set in places all around the world, you'll recognize the names of many famous Christian fiction writers--Jerry Jenkins, Randy Alcorn, Terri Blackstock, Deborah Raney, and twenty more. And the great cause is the JESUS Film Project, dedicated to spreading the Good News throughout the world.

I'll lay claim to pages 57-71 with my story, "Heartstrings," the tale of a winsome young musician whose heart is nearly broken in two by the one man who loves her more than anyone on earth--her father.

The setting is the Mabou Highlands of Cape Breton in the Maritimes of Canada. My love for the lively fiddle music and rich cultural heritage of Cape Breton increased exponentially after our family vacation last summer to Nova Scotia. One trip around the breathtaking Cabot Trail, and the island staked a claim on my heart forever.

Mabou Harbor, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

I hope my story, "Heartstrings," will have the same effect on you!
