Angela Crenshaw is a Kentucky native residing in Lebanon, Kentucky. Angela worships and shares her musical gifts as guest soloist with numerous churches across the state.  The last ten years she has sung and acted as a performer in the Stephen Foster Story musical drama. Angela most recently headlined in the lead role as Billie Holiday in the musical Lady Day at Emerson’s.

Paula Matthews is a gifted musician, composer, and arranger whose piano and hammered dulcimer talents are often shared at Christ Church United Methodist, whether as an accompanist with the Chancel Choir or as a soloist.

Our Breakout Speakers:

Elizabeth Hoagland, the author of Let’s Be Friends, is a Kentucky native and graduate of U.K. Along with her husband, John, Elizabeth is the mother of three and grandmother of four (so far!). She enjoys reading, teaching and participating in Bible studies with girlfriends, writing, traveling and eating more than her fair share of dark chocolate.

Three Secrets to Being a Sister-Friend: Come learn about Elizabeth’s three special friends and be inspired and energized to deepen all the friendships in your life.

Rev. Dr. Leanne Hadley oversees Children’s and Youth Ministry at Christ Church United Methodist. She received her M. Div. and D. Min. from United Theological Seminary, is the author of several books, and is a speaker on children’s spirituality and development. She is passionate about helping children and families grow in their relationship with Christ.

Walking a Friend through Tough Times:When our friends go through tough times, how can we help? Most of the time it isn’t about saying the right things, but just being there and listening intentionally. Join Leanne as we learn tools for “holy” listening.
